Lullaby
Lullaby is an intimate multimedia installation. It is born from a memory of a pig-killing festival, a moment that froze in time when a pig turned and met my gaze just before its death.
The installation weaves together objects and media to embody this memory. An ice sculpture of a half-pig head, melting with time, left only the eye in the plate. It does not simply disappear—it lives inside the TV, where a video plays as if revisiting the memory in my mind. The TV is a container of this specific memory, it becomes more than an object; it is alive, breathing with the rhythm of recollection. The video repeats the scene every 13 minutes as if another pig is killed in real life and in my mind, and another eye left in the plate.
In that moment, each life is more than a statistic. It is a gaze, a story, a memory that remains.
